Sorry you are still having problems.   But I'm out of time to help figure
out what is going on with this.

I did test the installation out on my system.

One of the weird things is when you try to install msp430-tinyos-legacy it
isn't finding the dependencies.
That is weird.

Did you do "sudo apt-get update"?


I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneric). and I installed the packages fine.
What version of the OS are you
running?   I don't know why dpkg is failing with the install and don't have
time to figure it out.  Especally
since I can't duplicate the failure.

You may want to punt and kick over to using the development trunk and use
the 46 toolchain.
