*Two Research Assistant/Associate Positions in Body Sensor Networks*

Applicantions are invited to apply for 2 new vacancies at either
Research Assistant (pre-doctoral) or Research Associate (post-doctoral)
level in translating the ESPRIT technologies to pervasive healthcare
applications. The ESPRIT project is also aimed at understanding the
biology of athletic performance to gain insights into the human
physiological system that will improve the health and wellbeing of the
population at large.
We are looking for candidates with experience in ANY of the following:
* Sensor data mining and knowledge discovery
* Machine learning and behaviour profiling
* Wireless sensor networks and real-time embedded systems
* Large scale real-time database and inferencing systems
* Pervasive/ubiquitous computing
Applicants with strong experience and a proven track record in one or
more of the above research areas are encouraged to apply. A high level
of analytical and computing skills is required. Preference will be
given to applicants with a proven research record and publications in
relevant areas.
