Joao, I checked the cc2420x code: it's sending all received frames to the pppsniffer code, including acknowledgements, and beacon frames, as well.
There can be two reasons why you don't see the beacon frames and the mac commands in wireshark: 1. Pppsniffer is receiving them from the radio driver but not reporting them. 2. There are no beacon and mac command frames being sent. Use the apps\tests\rfxlink\RadioSniffer application to see what the radio driver is receiving. If the beacon frames are received by the radio driver, then the issue is clearly with Pppsniffer. If you see no beacon frames, then you can be certain that your network is not sending beacon frames.
