It doesn't work, because the tinyos packages haven't been built for arm. If you want to do development (i.e. compiling tinyos applications, programming motes) on the raspberry pi, you will need to build everything from source. If you want to use the raspberry pi as a gateway, the only thing you need to compile is the serial forwarder. The sources are in the main tinyos tree under tools.
