My research area is Security in WSN's and I am working on a project involving T-MAC protcol. To best of my knowledge, T-MAC has already been implemented in TinyOS-1.x a decade back and I wish to use this project. Presently I am working on tinyOS-2.1.1 which is the latest version to develop my application. But as we know tinyOS-2.1.1 is not backwards compatible so the soucre code wich I downloaded from sourceforge repository(for T-MAC/S-MAC in tinyOS-1.x/contrib) is no compatible with present version of 2.1.1 and hence not make-able(eg. 'make telosb install'- doesnot compile correct as different components).
Can u suggest me some possible ways on how to make that application work. Shall I download and switch to tinyOS-1.x and build application using the T-MAC project. If so, can you provide me with the correct download link/procedure.? Also if tinyOS-1.x has platform requirements for telosB motes? Or shall I just use the code of T-MAC project from 1.x and make a new application of T-MAC from scratch in tinyOS-2.1.1? Thanking you sincerely -Sahaj
