Hi,

Apparently, there is a bug in Tinyos 2.x so the AM group doesn’t work the way
it should. To use a different channel use this directive

In your makefile: PFLAGS = -DCC2420_DEF_CHANNEL=x

The radio in TelosB has 16 available channels numbered from 11 to 26. The
default channel is 26.

Subject: [Tinyos-help] Changing BaseStation app to send only to a certain AM
Group and channel

Hi all,

In university there are other students like me that work with TinyOS, in my
project I use BaseStation to send/receive data from some motes. In those motes
I have set the AM_GROUP to 6, but when I send a packet from serial port to
BaseStation all other sensor boards in the environment receive these packets,
so it makes some interference with other students boards.

Can you please tell me what I have to change in BaseStation to send only to
group 6? There is no header file in this app so I dont know how to change the
group address.

Also, can I change the communication channel to something else? If so, how? is
there any directive to set in Makefile for this or I should do it in the code?

Thanks,
Sean.
