that is what i have already done !!
the problem that after installing the jdk and even jre
when taping java-version i got always the java5 and there is no other version
of java!!
so i don't know how to install or configure java

you can download jtossim zip from this URL :
http://sourceforge.net/projects/jtossim/
then Uncompress it.
With a terminal cd to the uncompressed directory and execute the following
command:
java -jar JtosSim.jar
JTossim requires Java 1.6 or greater and a fully configured Tinyos development
environment.

could you please give me where do you install jtossim (path)
and which commands do you use for installing (java -jar JToSsim)?
which version of java do you use and classpath of java
i have java5(/usr/lib/jvm)
i install jdk7u17 (usr/local)
when i want to execute jtossim by taping the command java -jar jtossim
i got this error:
exception inthread "main" java.lang.NoclassDefFoundError :
javax/swing/grouplayout
