Thanks for quick reply!
Actually, All I need is to keep track of time between packets. If there is no
quick way to have RTC on TelosB, then I guess using a simple Timer would do the
job.
But I am interested in adding an hardware RTC to TelosB. Do you know if there
is a ready module to use?
Thanks.

A couple of options:
1) You could update the mote with a valid timestamp every now and then, from a
BS mote connected to a PC host, with a script running on the PC updating the
timestamp value through the serial port.
2) Add a RTC to your mote (I use a RTC with a I2C interface and an external
battery to keep the time if the mote is powered off)
3) Same as above, but only add the RTC to one mote within your network, so it
will act as in a NTP server kind of way.
Surely there are other ways, more simpler or complex than the ones presented,
basically it depends on how much are you willing to implement/spend, skills,
and your whole scenario.

Hi all,
I am doing some measurements on RSSI with telosb. I want to know at which time
the packets are being recived.
Is there a way to add current time of day to a packet? I mean in the message
struct, what type of data type (nx_uint32_t or ...) I have to use, and when
creating and sending packet, is there an interface to use for generating time
of day?
As far as I know there is no clock chip on TelosB, so it might not be possible.
Is there any workaround?
If not, any other ideas?

Sean.
