yes it is still no.

the only one of the launchpad processors that might work is the msp430g2553
which has 16 KB of flash and .5 KB RAM.

it can work but doesn't have a lot of resources.  not sure what the cost
trade offs are for this processor.   Why would one want to use this mcu?

One of the original msp430 mcus used for tinyos is the msp430f1611.   it
has 48K EOM and 10K RAM.

Currently I've been using the msp430f5438a which has 256K ROM and 16 K RAM.
