Hi Janos, Thanks for the info. I will give that a try. My experience with the gcc toolchain is limited. I do not think i have the source code for the gcc compiler as of now. I had somehow managed to install the toolchain for the IRIS platform as mentioned in this document on Vanderbilt University's website
