Hello All

New and have come here as I have seen an earlier post about the same issue on
here and other boards from some time back, but there was no resolution from
what I can see.

I would appreciate anyone coming across an issue with XServe rather than
Tinyos.

I'm connecting Micaz mote using the interface board to my virtual com port and
whether running XServe thruogh cygwin or via MoteView 2.1, I keep getting this
message:

[MV : 22/09/2014 20:29:40]
System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the
target machine actively refused it 192.168.1.64:9005
   at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.DoConnect(EndPoint endPointSnapshot,
SocketAddress socketAddress)
   at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Connect(EndPoint remoteEP)
   at XBow.lib.XSocketBase.Open(String host, Int32 port)

It seems obvious enough, client machine does not have port 9005 open. Some
people have already suggested to open the ports 9001 and 9005 on the client
machine. Done that no joy!

My client firewall is not blocking nor is my router firewall. In fact I have
explicitly put rules in to open both 9001 and 9005 for XServe.

MoteView 2.1 does seem to have an XSensor.cgi file in it's web folder that has
hardcoded port=9005 but I can't modify this or anything in that folder for that
matter.

Any help much appreciated. My deadline is looming :) :(
