Hi! I had the same problem while installing the tinyOS on Ubuntu 16.04. I think that this problem is related to the version of Ubuntu and the compiler and the repository you are using to download and install the TinyOS.
Try downgrading your Ubuntu to version 12.04 or 14.04. If you choose the oldest one, you can watch some tutorials on Youtube about the process of installation.
