--- Begin Message --- I've created a branch on the tinyos tree for the 1.1 release (the tag is tos-1-1-0-candidate). This branch is for bug fixes leading up to the release, and should not have new features added.

If you're working on the release (doing bug fixes, documentation, testing, etc), you should update to this branch:
cvs update -r tos-1-1-0-candidate

If you want to track what's going to be in the release, you should also
update to the branch.

If you're working on new stuff, stay on the main branch.

If you're doing both, keep two copies of tinyos-1.x handy...

Changes made on the branch will be folded back into the main tree after the release, so it's simplest to only make bug fixes on the branch.
