Salary: £22,116 - £32,232 per annum

We are looking for three Research Assistants/Associates to work on a new DTI funded project to develop a new generation of intelligent sensor networks for pervasive healthcare. Experience in any of the following areas will be preferred:

• Multi-sensor fusion, pattern recognition, data mining and knowledge discovery
• Machine learning and decision support
• Embedded systems, wireless sensor networks and autonomic systems
• Large-scale real-time databases

The posts are for a fixed term of up to 36 months. Applicants should have a PhD or a distinction-level Masters degree. Preference will be given to applicants with a proven research record in relevant areas.
