Unfortunately I am not sure I will be able to get this in by final freeze. whilst backporting was easy, the daemon crashes with an assertion error whenever this patch is applied, and a directory is included. I do not currently have enough time to track this down and fix it properly. I do have the packaging ready to go for this however, so if someone feels they can get it completed and tested before final freeze, feel free to attach a patch, and I can get it packaged and uploaded ASAP. I do wonder though, whether this requires an FFE, in which case, we are likely out of time anyway.

Status in “pulseaudio” package in Ubuntu: In Progress Status in “pulseaudio” source package in Maverick: In Progress Bug description: Binary package hint: pulseaudio Hello, a few weeks ago we had requested to the pulse audio maintainers a new feature in pulse config that would allow to create a package that would drop additional configuration files. In its initial implementation, there is only 1 configuration file (default.pa) which is 'owned' by the pulseaudio package, as such it is difficult to customize this file. This new feature has been committed in upstream pulse this weekend, and has been pulled in the pulseaudio trunk on launchpad, see http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~crimsun/pulseaudio/trunk/revision/3523. With this new commit, if we just put a ".include /etc/pulse/default.d" in the default.pa then all the *.pa files therein will be parsed. Is there any chance this commit can be pulled in for 10.10? That includes adding the ".include /etc/pulse/default.d" in default.pa too. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~tiomap-dev Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~tiomap-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
