ASoC audio (like used on most ARM platforms) has controls for setting up the 
backend routing... as you can see above pulse is not enough to initialize sound 
here.
i will try to find criteria for the hardware with which we can match it in a 
udev rule which in turn can call the alsactl init thats necessary.

Bug description:
with the current daily-preinstalled images (from build 20100913 on) which 
include new kernel patches and which are built for ES2.0 boards only. we do not 
have a sound device in the sound prefs dialog anymore, only the dummy device 
shows up.

the dialog should have two sound output devcies, one for the earphone jack, one 
for HDMI output. with the earphone jack being the default preselected output.
