In the last weeks we changed our config to build these two modules modular instead of in-kernel.
The reason is that after patches to make the defaults more sane, with the modules out or removed, the OMAP4 Pandas takes less than half the idle power it otherwise would. The choices are AFAIK: - force them to build in-kernel in the config - force-insert the modules during init - add a udev rule to insert them -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of TI OMAP Developers, which is subscribed to linaro-landing-team-ti. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1076289 Title: ehci-hcd module is not loaded automatically on pandaboard Status in Linaro Texas Instruments Landing Team: New Status in Linaro Ubuntu Evaluation Builds: In Progress Bug description: ehci-hcd module is not loaded automatically on pandaboard. hwpack: hwpack_linaro-lt-panda (3.4.11-2604-ga393db0-omap4plus-linaro-lt-omap) rootfs: nano To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linaro-landing-team-ti/+bug/1076289/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~tiomap-dev Post to : tiomap-dev@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~tiomap-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
