The Transparent Inter Process Communication (TIPC) protocol enables quick and reliable communication between applications in a clustered computer environment, and is an emerging standard for messaging on multi-core and multi-processor systems. Open Source TIPC software has been incorporated into a number of operating systems, including the Linux kernel and VxWorks.
We are pleased to announce the release of TIPC version 1.7.5 for Linux. This release contains several significant bug fixes. All TIPC 1.7 users are encouraged to upgrade to this release.
