Hi Laurent,
This is good news, and would be much appreciated.  The CVS repository at SF
has not been used for a long time. After the inclusion in the Linux 
kernel, we
decided to make the GIT tree at kernel.org the main repository.
I your case I think a .tar file is necessary, since it is so much easier 
for people
to download. About whether to use CVS or not, I assume that depends on
if you want/expect others to contribute to the code or not.
