Hi Felix:
TIPC 1.7.5 requires a Linux kernel of vintage 2.6.16 or greater. If
you've been using TIPC 1.5.12, you're most likely running 2.6.14 or
earlier and will need to upgrade your kernel. Once you've done this,
you can build TIPC into the kernel -- or make it a loadable module --
using the standard Linux kernel build tools (i.e. "make menuconfig", and
so on).
Regards,
Al

Subject: [tipc-discussion] Installing TIPC 1.7.5
We are trying to install TIPC(1.7.5) as a loadable module, but the
documentation in the users guide does not appear to match the source
code. There is no README file or Makefile at the top level. Is there
still the ability to build tipc as a stand-alone module?
Thanks,
Felix
