Hello all,
I've got a question about TIPC. We are using TIPC for Linux boards in
a rack. At startup boards do not know there own TIPC z.c.n address but
they will learn it later: then at one time we will set up the z.c.n
address and enable the ethernet bearer.
Obviously we won't be able to communicate with other boards before
setting addresses, but what I'm hoping is to start intra-board
communication before using tipc-config and to become reachable by other
boards afterward.
My questions:
1/ is it allowed to start TIPC based servers and clients and bind
sockets before knowing our address and before enabling bearer, the goal
being to exchange messages between processes on one board ?
2/ Once address set and bearer enabled, will the board be seen by the
network including the existing registered applications (I mean the one
that were isolated in point 1) ?
Thanks a lot in advance for your answers,
Rgds,
Alain
