The only disadvantage is that after MTU is changed by user, it cannot
immediately take effect. Instead user has to manually have bearer down
and up again. Sometimes user is a bit confused by this.

Of course, the behavior of changing media MTU is same with media other
properties like tolerance, window and priority.
