There is a guy in my carpool who teaches accounting in the college of 
business. He tells me that ESP, Bigfoot, psychokinesis, ghosts, etc. all 
exist. When I countered with the fact that many of these phenomena would 
violate the laws of physics, and the burden of proof is on those making the 
claim for the phenomena, not science to disprove it, he told me that "That's 
only true in western science which can never explain these things." I told 
him that science was science, and the scientific methods used, are used all 
over the globe by reputable scientists. He countered with "There are people 
out there with paranormal powers that hide those powers from scientists." I 
am glad he teaches accounting.
