The acclaimed US science TV series Nova (which often uses the productions of its British (BBC) counterpart, whose name escapes me) is presenting a programme on the extraordinary John/Joan case.
For those who haven't heard about it, this is the case of the Canadian MZ twin boy who suffered extensive damage to his penis while an infant. Following the advice of the great sexologist John Money, he was raised as a girl, with ultimately disastrous consequences. The programme should have lots of interesting stuff relating to sex, sexual identity, and even the ethics of sex reassignment. Don't miss it! On at 8:00 pm today, Tuesday, October 30 on US public TV.
