I think that Johnna Shapiro is correct.  I also believe that some people have
been trying to inflame others; I believe that some people have been trying to
assist others to understand ways in which to deal with a difficulty that many of
us have faced or still do face; I believe that some people are not listening at
all to what is being said; I also believe that it is shortly after noon where I
live and there have already been 50+ messages on the list and the vast majority
of them have been on the apathy subject and that the vast majority of those have
been from one person.

I believe that there should be a limit, not only to daily total posts, but to
daily individual posts.

But that's just my opinion, and I may be totally wrong.
