My colleague and I are both new faculty members in our dept. We have a budget of $2300 to spend on books for the library. It is apparent to us that not many purchases have been made in the last 10 years. There are several books in the areas of history and development (although some of the books in the development section are dated).
Do any of you have any recommendations for current books in the areas of cognition, gender, learning, development, social, and biological psychology? Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Lisa D.
