The NCAA limits how many practices teams can have during the regular season, in the Spring and in training camp. The simple reason why college football in the state of florida is that it is the easiest place in the world to recruit to. All three major college teams have a proven track record. The weather is better than anywhere else (except during the occasional hurricane). And, not to be sexist, the co-eds are pretty nice to look at.
