A student in my World History class reported today on the Kwakiutl
Indians in the US Northwest who shaped their children's heads to
have flat foreheads and flat backs. He asked if shaping the skull like
that affected the way the people thought. I said I thought not
because the brain would accommodate itself to the shape of the skull.
But now I'm curious. Do any of you have any information? Thanks in
advance.
