Hi Tipsters,
As I've found others on this list know more about psychoanalytic theory than myself, I hope someone can provide some help for one of my students. Her question:
" I am writing a paper about the book "Death in the Andes" and our prompt is to answer the question, "Why does geography play an important role in the book." Basically I am relating the author's use of caves to show the primitive state of man. Someone told me that either Sigmund Freud or Karl Jung had literate supporting man returning to his natural state when describing caves."
Any thoughts that I can pass along to this student to assist her in her research. Thanks.
