I guess it depends what kind of students you have. I order the intro text (Kalat) and study guide in one package. The syllabus tells the students to study their notes, review the text, and when they think they are ready for the test, to use the MC question banks in the study guide as a pre-test. Pick answers and give yourself a score. If you ace the SG, you're probably ready for the real test. If you flunk it, you need to work more. It helps those who use it that way, usually after they blow test 1.
