The Psychology Department at Kalamazoo College seeks to fill two
temporary, one-year positions beginning fall, 2002.  The primary
responsibility is teaching six undergraduate courses per year (two in
each of three 10-week terms).  The teaching load includes two or more
sections of introductory psychology and courses in the area of one�s
specialty and interest.  Our curricular needs include cognitive
psychology, social psychology and cultural psychology, but psychologists
in any non-clinical specialty are encouraged to apply.  Preference will
be given to those with demonstrated ability in teaching introductory
undergraduate courses.  Ph.D.s are preferred, but ABDs will be
considered.

Kalamazoo College is a highly selective nationally known liberal arts
institution offering an integrated undergraduate experience that weaves
a traditional liberal arts curriculum into educational experiences in
both domestic and international settings.  In a recent study, Kalamazoo
College ranked 19th among more than 1500 colleges and universities in
the proportion of graduates going on to earn doctoral degrees in
Psychology.

The campus is located midway between Chicago and Detroit in Kalamazoo,
