I have also used Plotnik in the past and really enjoyed that text as well.  I tend to 
switch on and off every other semester or so.  That way, students cannot copy exams, 
quizzes, or notes, from previous students.

Rod Plotnik's text is a tried-and-true popular text for community college.
It's got an unusual, "MTV-type" layout.  (Sorry, but this is the MTV
generation!)  I taught at a community college for for 6 years and Plotnik
always won, hands down.  I brought in 6 texts and had my top students choose
texts for the following semester.
