One of my students called and said that she was in a car accident and requested a two day delay in turnig in her assignment. I told her to bring me the police report and I will consider that as a legitimate excuse.She has not shown up yet.I am contemplating a number of hypotheses. And while on this topic(nodal semantic network),supposing that she told me that it was a hit and run accident,would I be obligated to turn her in to the police? (And as the free association/nodal semantic network cuntinues),are there circumstances where you would turn-in a student to the police?
