Pacifiers are strongly connected to the use of Ecstasy, since sucking on a
pacifier helps to control the intense jaw-clenching that is a side effect of
use of the drug. In that context, it might be that sucking on a pacifier,
even during a non-Ecstasy-use phase, might seem "cool" to some, since it is
a signal that the person is/has been an Ecstasy user.
