The Psychology Department at Skidmore College invites applications for a new tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall 2003. Skidmore College is a liberal arts institution of approximately 2,200 students and 200 full-time faculty, located in upstate New York. The Department has excellent teaching and research facilities. We seek a colleague with teaching and research interests in Adult Development or Clinical Psychology. Specifically, the position involves the delivery of 18 credit hours covering a combination of psychology courses at the introductory and advanced level as well as courses contributing to Skidmore�s all-college curriculum. The psychology courses include the teaching of Introductory Psychology, Introductory Statistics, and topics courses in the area of specialization. Candidates should be firmly committed to undergraduate education and faculty/student collaborative research. Preference will be given to those candidates with teaching experience who have a Ph.D. in psychology or, if ABD, will have completed their degree by Fall 2003.
