Hi Tipsters-- Forgive me for returning to the original theme of this thread, but I couldn't help but tell you a little story about an earlier edition of the excellent and most widely consulted multivariate analysis textbook by Linda Fidell and Barbara Tabachnick. To keep themselves centered, after hours of working with high-level statistical formulas and explanations they started taking belly dancing lessons (and sewing their own elaborate costumes). They got so good at dancing that they began performing professionally on weekends. One of the early editions had what appeared to be a colorful pixel-pattern but, for those looking closely, it was a large-boxed pixelized photo of two belly-dancers.
