Remember our recent but recurring discussion of Little Albert and whence he had gone? When last heard from, he was an infant in the Harriet Lane Home for Invalid Children, where his mother was a wet nurse.
In checking out the source for my Dionne quint post, I came across a fresh reference to him. It led to Cohen (1979), who said: "Albert was adopted by a family that lived outside Baltimore and no futher tests could be made" (p. 144). There is no specific source given for the claim that Albert was adopted but Cohen gives a general reference for his account of the Albert experiment as "Notes by Rosalie Rayner in the possession of Jim Watson".
