Hazarding an educated but perhaps incorrect response...
I don't think that she's going to be able to calculate power using SPSS.
SPSS is a program for working with actual data, and power is a calculation
based on a number of assumptions that one makes about the data (most
importantly, hypothesized size of the effect). I don't have time at the
moment to find a good reference source for what she does need to do (I'm
sure other TIPSters will come through quickly), but I suggest you stop
looking for a way using SPSS. I don't think you're going to find one.
