They might take a look at the size charts in mail order catalogs. These aren't
standardized. I've discovered there is some variability in the body shapes
depicted in these drawings. There is a catalog that targets teenage girls
(Delias?) that has a line drawing for sizing that will take your breath away -
makes Barbie look a bit plump by comparison.
