Here is what I found at
<http://www.waldenu.edu/acad-rsrcs/thesis/part2.html>: "Indent bulleted
lists as any numbered list. Note, however, that bulleted lists commonly
do not appear in APA publications and are discouraged."
I'm not sure this helps--take it for what it's worth.

Is the use of a bulleted list permitted in APA style? The 5th
edition of
the Publication Manual shows on pp. 116-117 the use of a numbered list,
but I
haven't found any directions regarding whether bulleted lists are
allowed. If
any of you has knowledge or experience to share, I would appreciate some
guidance.
