Hi Gang,

I'm bringing up the rear on this question. I was out of town 4 days,
but I pondered the question over the weekend.

I don't have proof against the idea, but it does not square with my
personal or professional experience. We know of one family with an
interracial son who went off to college on an athletic scholarship. We
know another family with an interracial daughter who has done well
academically, both locally and in college.

Several interracial celebrities seem to be doing very well:

Vanessa L. Williams
Halle Berry
The daughter of Harry Belafonte
Mariah Carey
Tiger Woods

The bottom line is there is not enough genetic difference between races
to cause problems in children. The gene pools of all races are
overwhelmingly similar.
