I tried to use a couple of the readings for debates in Human Sexuality. I did
not find the readings helpful this type of in-depth debate. First, the
readings are often "arguments" that may or (often) may not be based on any
evidence. Second, the issues that at first glance may appear to be "issues of
debate" have already been resolved in the literature with overwhelming
evidence in one direction.
That being said, it can perhaps serve as a good starter for students to seek
out further evidence or simply as a starter for discussions about
controversial issues.
