Arkansas State University- Jonesboro invites applications for a
tenure-track Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology in the
Department of Psychology and Counseling. Position begins August 15, 2003.
Salary is competitive for rank and based on experience and other
qualifications.

The Department is located in the College of Education, which is accredited
by NCATE. Arkansas State University is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative

offers a BS in psychology, masters programs in rehabilitation counseling
(CORE accredited), school counseling (CACREP accredited), college student
personal services, and an EdS in psychology and counseling, with emphases
in mental health counseling and school psychology.

Responsibilities: Teaching responsibilities will include Educational
Psychology and Introduction to Psychology. Ability to teach other courses
in the applicant=s specialty field is desirable. The position will be
primarily in the undergraduate program. Appropriate levels of service and
research are also expected. Arkansas State University supports faculty
research in a variety of ways, including opportunities to obtain internal
grants for new faculty.

Qualifications: Applicants should have a Ph.D. or Ed.D in Educational
Psychology or related fields, such as Developmental or School Psychology.
ABD may be considered for an initial appointment at the Instructor level.
