Hmmm....Louis, is there ever any humor in your life at all?

I would argue that poking fun at others without ever poking fun at yourself is obnoxious and belittling. However, poking fun at both others AND yourself is like saying "gee - people are sure silly sometimes" and I see nothing defaming or belittling about that.... If the other person is offended hurt then you should obviously stop right away. But friendly teasing - if it is clearly intended as such - is hardly belittling.

Look at my other, longer post, though - I think I posted this "blooper" more because I was amazed (and perhaps disturbed) by it than because I was seeking fun at the student's expense.

Jim, we're not talking about poking fun at ourselves--in order to see

Make it a good day.
