Hi Tipsters, I am trying to find two pieces of information, and I can't seem to locate either. I am looking for a reference for a quote and a citation for a study.
The quote goes something like this: "Students will not care about your discipline unless they know you care about them." Second question: Does anyone know where the study can be found that identified a positive correlation between amount of smiling an instructor does and the ratings on student evaluations? I thought these items were in McKeachie's book, but I can't find either of the above there. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
