INDEED. BUT, AS IS TYPICAL IN PROSPECTIVE MEDICAL RESEARCH, THE NUMBER OF POSITIVE CASES WAS PROBABLY QUITE SMALL. SO, FOR INSTANCE, IF  9 OF THE SUBJECTS IN THE IN THE PLACEBO GROUP  BECAME INFECTED COMPARED TO ONLY 2 IN THE "VACCINE" GROUP, THAT WOULD BE A DECREASE OF 78%, BUT PROBABLY NOT A STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE.
