I am at one of those schools that annually publishes faculty and administrative salaries. I think its a good idea. It's a union school so when a newcomer makes more than a veteran, there is an equity procedure you can go through to get a raise. When the school says its broke and can't give us reasonable raises, we point out the administrative raises given in the last several years as a rebuttal.
