Dear Traci, Health psychology is a very good area for students as there are a number of opportunities in a number of different venues. The best location to steer your student to is the Div. 38 web site that has a list of programs etc. Some of the schools that feature very well for health psych are UCLA, UC-Irvine, SUNY -Stony Brook, Ohio State University. For other info see http://www.health-psych.org/
Post doctoral positions are a very good thing to consider as well. Most of the schools I mentioned above has very good postdoctoral programs. I went through one myself (UCLA) and benefited greatly from it. Feel free to have your student email me directly with specific questions. Cheers Regan ********************************** Regan A. R. This time it's health psych. I'd appreciate any advice on programs, resources, research opportunities, applied job possibilities (post PhD), or anything else that might be helpful for an excellent student of mine who'd like to get a Ph.D doing this kind of research. Thanks in advance, Traci -- --- You are currently subscribed to tips as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
