Dear Louis, I can't say that I have noticed more homogeneity with more radicalism, but it may exist. I do agree, however, that the labels are convenient pigeonholes that simplify reality. The harsh reality comes when people make a choice at the polling booth. If they vote on the basis of party, they are putting themselves in a category ny defintition.
