ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITIONS AT JAMES MADISON UNIVERSITY. The Department
of Psychology is seeking several faculty members for tenure-track
appointments to begin August 2004. These faculty will be expected to
regularly teach the Statistics and/or Research Methods courses required of
all Psychology Majors. In addition, expertise and interest in offering
courses in one or more of the following areas will also be an asset:
Sensation and Perception; Vision and Audition; I/O, Forensic,
Cross-Cultural, Counseling, Clinical, or General Psychology; or Life-Span
Human Development. Other areas of specialization will also be considered.
Teaching will be primarily at the undergraduate level, but there may be
opportunities to teach graduate courses as well. Other responsibilities
include developing an active program of research, supervising undergraduate
and/or graduate student research, advising students, and engaging in service
